Courses for New Faculty - College Faculty Credentialing

Welcome New Faculty!

This Web site provides you with information about the faculty courses -- course construction; teaching/instructional methods; student outcomes assessment/evaluation; and philosophy of community and technical college education -- necessary to complete the teaching and learning competency requirement. 

The CTL0900 Philosophy of Community and Technical College Education course, required to complete the teaching and learning competency for new unlimited college faculty, is available for Summer and Fall, 2009. The D2L course is offered online as a self-directed, non-credit course from the Center for Teaching and Learning.

Spring/Summer Completion-Please log back into the CTL website using the same semester you were registered:

  • Copy & paste a teaching and learning philosophy statement
  • Complete the end of course checklist
  • Print certification of completion and give a copy to campus HR.

    You will be responsible to submit the certificate information to the College Faculty Salary and Credentialing System.

    CTL Summer registration opened on May 11, 2009!
